Indian institute of technology, Transportation Engineering division. Civil Engineering department state RBI 81 is "suitable for soil stabilisation, modification and rehabilitation without the use of new aggregate materials".

Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Cambodia, recognises the use of RBI 81 as a "Standard of best practice".

Gravelly, sandy, silty and clayey soils where stabilised with RBI Grade 81 and other chemical products. RBI grade 81 was the only product where different specifications where able to be evolved for all the pavement layers of stabilisation soils including sub base, base layer and shoulder layer.

Road Institute of India recommends the use of RBI 81, citing, "all tests carried out on soils using RBI 8 have shown substantial improvements in strength properties". and further recommends its use in specific applications in he region.

Al-Futtaim laboratory report (Dubai), carried out on dessert sands state "soil strength, as measured by load on the penetration piston , exceeded measuring capabilities of equipment after application of RBI 81".
